Rental Policy

Rates for 2016:

$2,750 per week, rentals follow a Saturday to Saturday schedule
$500 per night with a two night minimum
We will be open from mid-June through mid-September for the 2016 season.

Accommodations Available: 19 beds
The Main House has two beds on the main floor and 11 beds on the second floor. The Bunk House boasts one room with 6 beds.

Reservation and Deposit:
A deposit of 50% is necessary to hold your reservation. The deposit must be received within one week after the reservation is made to secure your spot. The remaining balance is due 30 days prior to your arrival. Cancellation of reservation given with 90 days’ notice may get a refund. Within 89 days of your reservation, the deposit becomes non-refundable.

Check-in and Departure:
Check-in is 3:00 p.m. or later, and departure is prior to 10:30 a.m.

Transportation:
St. William’s is accessible by water only. All guests should provide their own boat(s) or water taxi to get to and from Long Point, as well as, transportation while you are there. Boat rentals are available from local marinas.

Clothing:
Clothing should include layers since it can get cool at night and quite warm during the day. You should consider bringing rain gear and a few changes of shoes.

Bed and Bath Linens:
St. William’s provides blankets and pillows. Guests are responsible for sleeping bags or bed linens (twin-sized), and your own towels and washcloths. A laundromat is available in the village of Raquette Lake.

Cooking Facilities:
The kitchen in the Main House is equipped with cups, glasses, pans, plates, pots, silverware and all sorts of cooking utensils. There are two refrigerators and one freezer for guests’ use. A propane grill and an outdoor fireplace are available. Bringing food is your responsibility. The General Store in Raquette Lake has food available in July and August and a limited selection the rest of our season. Kitchen washcloths and towels are provided, however guests need to provide their own paper products.

You are responsible for putting all of your trash and refuse in clear plastic trash bags. Recyclables with codes 1 and 2 are accepted at the transfer station. Tops and lids should go into the garbage. Metal cans and all colors of glass are recyclable. All recyclables should be cleaned and rinsed. Cans and bottles with deposits should be kept separate. We will take your refuse and recyclables to the transfer station. Transfer Station Regulations

Miscellaneous:
A VCR / DVD player and TV set are available. Cell phone service has improved over the years but is still spotty at times. ATT, Trac phones and Verizon seem to get the clearest reception. A telephone is available for emergency use only. Smoking in any building and pets are prohibited.

Renters Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include a thorough clean-up, Guests are expected to leave the facility in as good as or better condition than the found it. Clean-up includes mopping, the refrigerator and vacuuming. We reserve the right to charge a cleaning fee up to $300.
